Insurance & Payment Information

As of March 23, 2026, Lost Sierra Dental will be out-of-network with Delta Dental and all other dental benefit plans.

What does this mean for you?
You can still use most dental benefit plans in our office. We are happy to file claims on your behalf as a courtesy and help you maximize your benefits. However, we are considered out-of-network with all plans.

We will provide an estimate of your coverage based on the information you provide and what we receive from your insurance company. Please note that you are ultimately responsible for understanding your specific plan and for any portion not covered by insurance.

Payment Policies

Payment is due on the date services are rendered. If you have dental benefits, we will collect your estimated patient portion at your appointment. Any alternative arrangements, including financing, must be made in advance.

We accept cash, major credit cards, and third-party financing through Cherry, Sunbit, and CareCredit.

Reservation Deposit Policy

When you schedule an appointment, we reserve time exclusively for you. To secure your appointment, a reservation deposit is required.

New Patients
A $100 deposit is required to schedule your intake visit.

Routine Visits (under 1 hour)
A $50 reservation fee is required.

Treatment Visits (over 1 hour or over $500)
A deposit equal to 25% of your estimated out-of-pocket cost (minimum $100) is required.

Your reservation fee is not an additional charge. It is applied toward your treatment on the day of your visit.

We require at least 48 business hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits are non-refundable if notice is given with less than 48 business hours.
